What I love about Andalusia is that everyone knows it, and at the same time, there are still many unknown places. The coastal town of Barbate is one of those. Barbate’s highlight? Wow, that’s hard to choose. For me, it’s either the tuna temple or the cliffs of Barbate.

Zahara de los Atunes in Spain is one of those coastal towns you do not know but can fall in love with instantly. And mainly because of the raw beaches. Miles of soft, golden sand, crystal clear blue water with a green beach entrance. No fancy fuss, just nature.

It’s really not more than a street with a few houses on top of a cliff. Los Caños de Meca is a hamlet but a mecca for windsurfers and wave surfers. And for people who just want to chill out. Because in Los Caños de Meca, you can let go of everything and do a lot of nothing. Love it!
