Is it time to compensate for sunbathing, drinking sangria, and visiting restaurants in beautiful Ibiza? Then sign up for one of the eight active tours and excursions on the island and relax on the beach after, tired and satisfied.

Lots of tours and excursions in Ibiza

There is no shortage of activities in Ibiza. There is plenty to do on the water, in Ibiza town, and the mountains. So check out the Ibiza excursions quickly and choose your favorite!

Walking tours all over Ibiza

With Walking Ibiza, you explore Ibiza on foot. Throughout the year, Walking Ibiza organizes a walk almost daily. You can join for as little as a tenner per person. The walks of Walking Ibiza take place in nature, except for one.

I like the community walks the best because often people who live in Ibiza also join. The guide will, of course, tell you all about the island and the area you walk through, but you can also have a friendly chat with the islanders. Great for inside tips!

ATV tour through the rugged inland of Ibiza

If you like a bit of speed, I highly recommend an ATV tour from Emove! Enjoy racing on small roads and discover places where you would never have come otherwise. Emove organizes day tours and sunset tours with their quad bikes. Curious what to expect from such a tour? I wrote a blog about this cool activity on Ibiza. Emove also has a buggy tour, by the way.

Horseback riding in Ibiza

Horse riding in Ibiza is a magical experience. Especially if you book a horseback ride at Ibiza Horse Valley. Ibiza Horse Valley rescue horses from dire situations and shelter them in their herd in the north of Ibiza. When you go out with their horses, you get to hear their whole story, which is fantastic.

Full of passion and love, the owners help me get to know the horses, tell me how they rehabilitate them, how the herd lives, and then we take a beautiful ride at sunset. Check this blog about horse riding on Ibiza to get even more excited!

Bike Tour through Ibiza Town on a Bamboo Bike

Bamboo Bike Tours offers bicycle tours on bamboo bicycles. The bike tour is offered in multiple languages several times per week. My guide knows a lot about Ibiza town, and we make quite a few stops. So during the tour of about 2 hours, we don’t even cover that many kilometers – it’s an easy, informative ride.

I pick up all kinds of fun facts. For example, did you know that the drummers of Benirras originally stood there in protest against the Gulf War? They came to drum once a month. When they were asked to stop, they came every week from then on. “And if you whine more, we’ll come every day, they threatened,” says the guide.

Those blue borders around windows and doors on Ibizan houses? They are meant to repel mosquitoes and ghosts. And did you know that master forger Elmyr de Hory was held captive in Ibiza? So there’s definitely a lot to learn about Ibiza during this bike tour. I for sure recommend going.

Tip! Not in the mood for something active? How about wine tasting on Ibiza? Good idea, right?!

Kayak excursion on Ibiza

A kayak tour in Ibiza is a top activity for a sunny day. You get active and, in the meantime, work on your tan. I went kayaking at Playa d’en Bossa. Close to the big clubs, you can enjoy snorkeling and exploring caves along the coastline. Just check your options here. Many organizations also organize kayak excursions in other places, also at sunset.

SUP excursion in Ibiza

If the waves are not too high and the wind is not too strong, then a SUP (Stand Up Paddling) tour is enjoyable to do. With SUP, you stand on a somewhat larger surfboard with a long paddle. It is relaxing and a good workout at the same time. Although relaxing… It feels like hard work to me – the waves are ruthless, and we don’t even reach the final destination during our tour. Oops! Still, I love paddleboarding, so I definitely recommend this Ibiza excursion.

Outdoor Adventure parc Acrobosc

The Outdoor Adventure park Acrobosc is mainly aimed at children, but it is actually great fun for adults too. A ticket is good for about 2.5 hours of ziplining, trampolining, clambering, climbing, and more. Three routes have been set out, one for the little ones, one for 6 to 10-year-olds, and the last one for everyone older than ten.

Mountain biking in Ibiza

The Belgian cyclist Eric accompanies mountain bike tours in Ibiza. Ibiza has a lot of hills and mountains; a tour is quite a challenge. There are four tours of 2 to 3 hours. The actual time depends on how fast your group is and how many stops you make along the way to take pictures of the beautiful landscape.

Is mountain biking a little too enthusiastic for you? They also have e-bikes!
